Food.gives

Southill Chapel is a collection point for food.gives, which is a Barnabas Aid project providing essential food items for poor, hungry and persecuted Christians around the world.

Food items required for general distribution:

• · Wheat flour (wholemeal, not self raising flour)

• · Rice

• · Lentils (dried)

• · Chick Peas (dried)

• · Salt (preferably bags, not tubs)

Please only send dried food (not tins) and ensure the items do not contain liquid, oil, or animal products. Bag sizes up to 3kg are acceptable, but larger packets of food are difficult to re-pack for shipping.

Food items required specifically for Ukraine:

• · Tinned food (ring-pull cans only)

Donated items can be dropped off at the chapel from Monday to Saturday. Please leave items on the table in the under-cover area to the left of the chapel. Alternatively, you are welcome to take home an empty food.gives box and return it when full.

Please ensure all items are in date.
